We use the U.S. Post Office for shipping. Here are a few answers to
some frequently asked questions about shipping.
How much is shipping?
Shipping charges are just $6.00 on all orders.
This price applies regardless of where you live. International customers
pay the same rate as those in the continental U.S.
Once I place my order, how long will it take to receive
my bikinis?
Why wait for weeks for those other companies to deliver? We
have great news for those of you that want to get into that
new bikini right away! Our shipping times are FAST FAST FAST!!!
We are able to ship most orders on the SAME DAY that the order
is placed. Customers in the U.S. will usually receive
their order within 3 or 4 days! We do not ship on
Saturdays or Sundays so orders placed on those days will not
ship until Monday. Holidays and bad weather may increase delivery
times slightly so keep that in mind.
Do you offer express or overnight shipping?
Customers in the U.S. that absolutely need the order
the next day should call our customer service department for
rates. The phone number is 786-228-9404.
We can take your order over the phone and quote you the express
shipping rate at the same time. Be sure to call before 3:30
PM Eastern Standard Time for this service. This service may
not be available everyday. The best time to contact our customer
service department is from 12 noon until 3:30 PM EST.
International orders will typically take
5 to 10 business days to get to you from the date you place
your order. If the package is delayed for customs clearance
it can take up to 4 weeks to reach you. We have sent orders
to Switzerland, France, Australia, and Japan in as little
as 4 days!!!! We estimate that approximately 8% of international
shipments will experience customs clearance delays. microkitten
has no control over the customs clearance process. We are
no longer shipping to Mexico or Italy.
Will there be Taxes and Customs Duties?
International shipments may be subject to customs duties and/or
taxes upon arrival in the destination country. These fees are the sole
responsibility of the purchaser. Rates will vary from country to country.
It has been our experience that most countries do not have import fees.
Please check with your local customs office or proper authority for
rates if you are concerned about possible fees.
What type of packaging do you use?
Customers in the U.S. will have their orders packed
in either a U.S. Post Office priority mail envelope or a plain
envelope. Our shipping label has a small "mk" logo,
our name and the return address. International orders are
packed in a plain envelope. A customs form with a description
of the contents may be required to appear on the outside of
some international shipments. We list "women's swimwear"
as the contents.
